At Netflix: A Paradigm of Security and Innovation

As a Security Software Engineer Leader at Netflix, he led the strategic transformation of Netflix's workforce and partner identity. He played a critical role in rolling out critical capabilities such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Passwordless Authentication, and Fine-grained Authorization, all in a zero-trust architecture environment.

Impact at Intuit: Elevating Security and User Experience

Before Netflix, he spent several years architecting critical solutions that substantially improved the security and user experience of Intuit essential products such as Turbotax and Quickbooks. He led a team designing and implementing a risk-based fraud detection system, drastically decreasing account takeover fraud while improving the sign-in success rate.

Hamid holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. His academic work, particularly his thesis, focused on "Service-oriented Architecture for Authentication and Authorization."
